The start of the 2023-2024 pre-season tour was a game-changer for Kobbie Mainoo’s career in the United States when he became a starter in most of the friendly matches in which he featured.

He showed class in the games against Leeds United, Lyon, and Arsenal before being swapped 6 minutes into the game against Real Madrid due to injury picked up and this saw him out before the beginning of the season.

Kobbie Mainoo returned from injury on the 26th of November 2023 and put up a wonderful performance in a 3-0 win away at Everton in a premier league feature.

After his tactical and open-minded play performance, his team captain Bruno Fernandes comments on him,” He’s the man of the match. For his age he has so many qualities. He sees things before others”.

Kobbie Mainoo is a well-disciplined player on and off the pitch and this makes it hard for him to be booked by referees.

Now, our favorite player has had five senior career appearances and is still counting on making more appearances in more games if injuries do not set in as is the norm in the game of football. So far so good, the game is loving him.

Mainoo won 2023-2024 FA Cup, was UEFA European Championship runner-up in 2024 and won Premier League Goal of the Month February 2024.
