Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly popularly called Mohamed Salah or Mo Salah is an Egyptian professional footballer who was born on the 15th of June 1992 in Nagrig, Basyoun, Egypt. His younger brother’s name is Nasr Salah, and his father is Salah Ghaly.

Mo Salah as he is called is the captain of the Egyptian national team and plays for Liverpool Football Club (We Never Walk Alone) in the English Premier League.

His preferred position is Right Wing (RW) but at times he occupies the position of an Attacking Midfielder (AM) or as a Second Striker.

Mohamed Salah is 31 years old, height 175cm, the preferred foot is Left, current market value is $70m and his current rating is 7.97. He wears the 11 jerseys for Liverpool and the 10-jersey number for the Egyptian national team. Mo Salah is known for his speed, dribbling, and tactical finishing in front of a goal.

Mohamed Salah’s Career History

Mohamed Salah started his Professional footballing Career from Youth teams Ittihad Basyoun and Othmason Tanta before his first Senior Professional Career started.

AI MAKAWLOON

Mohamed Salah started his senior career with AI Mokawloon in Egypt in the year 2010-2012 where he starred 38 times and scored 11 goals.

BASEL FC

He continued to Basel in Switzerland following the suspension of the Egyptian Premier League that year. He played in the Swiss Super League from 2012 to 2014 had 47 appearances and scored 9 times.

He won the Swiss Super League title with Basel in the year 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.

CHELSEA FC

A deal reported to be in the region of £11m was agreed with Basel on January 23rd, 2014, for the signature of Mohamed Salah. His move to Chelsea made him the first Egyptian to sign for a London-based Club.

Salah’s Premier League debut was as a substitute against Newcastle United and his first Premier League goal was against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in a London derby which saw Chelsea crush Arsenal in a 6-0 victory.

In total, Mohamed Salah only scored twice (2) in 13 league appearances and 19 in all competitions due to lack of playing time.

FLORENTINA (LOAN)
