Both UEFA Champions League and ESM saw Pepe nominated in the Team of the Season in the year 2013-2014.

CNID in 2014 awarded Pepe as Best Portuguese Athlete Abroad ( Footballer of the Year ) and was part of La Liga Goal Team of the Season in the 2010-11 season.

Moving to Primeira League saw him win the Primeira Liga Defender of the Month in September-October 2020, and April 2023.

Defender Pepe was also named in the Primeira Liga Team of the Year 2019-20,2020-21,2022-23 seasons.

In 2020 he was named the Best Portuguese Player Playing in Portugal by Quinas de Ouro Awards 2020 and was the SJPF Player of the Month back in April 2006.

The 2017-2018 seasons saw Pepe being the Süper Lig Defender of the Season and as well as being in the Süper Lig Team of the Season.
